THE LIBERTY TO THINK ILL

Return to Opinions Menu

Events and happenings in far off Britain in the distant past were of little concern to those people living in Australia -  not because they were not interested but communication was slow and news took a long time to arrive...

Today with rapid communications - the Internet, e_Mail, telephones etc we in Australia can be as well informed about what is happening overseas as it is possible to be - provided we take the trouble to find out for ourselves what is going on and not rely completely on the A.B.C., S.B.S. or any of the broadsheet newspapers.

Nearly all the present problems in OZ today stem directly from “copy-cat” introductions of social engineering ideas over the past 30-40 years by an elite “intelligentsia”.These have been legislated by Governments of both the Left and Right with almost with no concern for the. views of ordinary people, and with little serious debate on the consequences of their introduction.

So what are we talking about here? There are so many pieces of legislation its hard to know where to start , but most of these come under the heading of “HUMAN RIGHTS AND EQUAL OPPORTUNITY”.

British people have fought for and won “rights” over centuries of struggle and which is now embodied in our Australian Common Law . Most other countries provided no such protection for its population and probably had need for such legislation but people living in the Anglo-Saxon diaspora had no need for such legislation - they were built-in to their culture and legal systems derived from Britain.

View ‘The Bill of Rights, 1689” and “Magna Carta”

you can go and view our HMEQ legislation at the following web address;-  http://www.austill.edu.au/au/legis/cth/consolact/hraeoca1986512/

Take particular notice of 18C and see how this legislation impacts on the freedoms that we took for granted through our Consitution..
